Potty Training!

Spencer has been trying to use the potty at daycare and today we pulled out Spencer's potty and were immediately rewarded with our first pee in the toilet!

Don't worry...we will just tell you when we have the first poop.

A quick post before bed...

A day spent playing after a really cool visit to the Children's Museum - which I forgot to bring my camera to.

Spencer has many playmates....here is a future one!

My friends Nat and Kirsti had this little guy yesterday (March 31st)

He goes on the list with all the other babies that have been sprouting up around us....

Eleanor, Chloe, Nate, Henry, Jason, another friend we have is about to have twins!

Last but not least, my best friend Ken and his wife Kristen are about to have a baby boy of their own! Check out their web chronic(what)cles of little Blaze HERE

You know they're not babies anymore when...

They will hang on to a zipline until they smack into a wall pad and fall four feet to a floor pad and think it is the greatest thing in the world. It is not so much that they are willing to do it, but if you are willing to let them try...

First episode of Goodnight FutureBoy is up now!

Goodnight FutureBoy combines three recent things in my life.
1. I've just watched "Back to the Future" two nights in a row while I couldn't sleep.

2. My friend Matt just suggested I write blog comments here from Spencer's point of view. This idea really entertained me, but to start doing this here, after over a year of not doing, didn't seem right.

And most of all...

3. We really need to get Spencer back to sleeping without mommy or daddy next to him.

So Goodnight FutureBoy! will combine all three of those things in a fictional story that uses alot of the real life things that Spencer does. You can hopefully see where I try to fit in his speaking or physical development into the story so you can get an idea where he is in those regards even if you think the story is dumb. And it is pretty dumb. I did think of it at like 3am while I was staring at the little guy in the glow of a TV screen and Doctor Emmit Brown said the now famous phrase "Goodnight FutureBoy!" There is a mystery to it (who is futureboy) and there is an answer. I'm not making the plot up as I go (this isn't Lost or The X-Files). I'll let everyone in on the secret in the near future. You can probably figure it out, i don't mind. I do need to get him sleeping properly ya' know.
